DisneyToon Studios is looking for Production Manager
Starting Date: as soon as possible , duration - thru December 2006
Job details: DisneyToon Studios, an industry leader in the creation of quality animated feature length films for the home and theatrical markets seeks an Animation Supervisor. We currently have an exciting opportunity for Production Manager to join our team!
The Production Manager is involved in the production from pre-production, production and through post production if budget permits. Handling the various details of day to day production they constantly update the Producer as to the status of the project. This position is for a CG animated feature film project.
Responsibilities:
Reports to Producer, as well as the Production Executives.
Preparing and distributing weekly production status reports as per DTS procedures.
Communicating any and all delays to the Producer.
Tracking footage and communicating with Editorial Staff.
Helping Producer with scheduling and new hires.
Meeting with the Accountant in conjunction with the Producer.
Preparing the complexity report along with the Producer per DTS standards.
Trouble-shooting wherever necessary.
Delegation of duties to production staff and follow-through.
Managing day to day issues.
Reviewing time sheets of artistic staff.
Overseeing that all production materials are properly recorded and tracked.
Reporting weekly to the Manager of Production.
Requirements:
4 years minimum industry experience.
Bachelors degree in film / TV production or equivalent.
Strong Organization Skills.
Must have the ability to prioritize tasks at hand, assisting on all phases of pre-production.
Strong Understanding of classic 2D, and 3D animation processes.
Clear Understanding of the principles of animation production.
Computer Database Skills a plus.
Demonstrated Success engaging in Problem Solving Techniques.
Strong Oral Communication Skills.
Strong Written Skills.
