Job details: BLUE CASTLE GAMES is looking for an experienced Dialogue Editor for an editing contract, to be performed primarily at the consultants studio location. The consultant must use their own high quality audio editing system (i.e. protools, nuendo, logic audio, samplitude etc.)

The Editor's Primary Tasks:

Cut up large speech recordings into small files.
Level out the amplitude of the recordings to a predetermined reference level.
Clean up recordings.
Insure that stitching samples sound natural and convincing.
Transcribe improvised speech.
Edit speech script to adjust for changes in wording etc.
Categorize unscripted speech by creating folders and naming files.

Qualifications and Attributes:
Minimum 3 years of professional audio experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience editing speech for film and or video games.
Must be an excellent communicator, self sufficient, strong time management and problem solving skills.

Requirements: Tools and Requirements:
Must own or have access to a high quality audio editing system (protools, nuendo or logic audio or samplitude etc.)
Hardware should be of professional quality and should include reference quality monitors.
Good VU metering solution is essential.
CD burner.
Microsoft Excel.
Must have own transportation for moving of sound equipment.
