Gobbled up by Nvidia
Nvidia was one of the "babies" born out of the GPU generation You are talking not just about Ageia specifically, but the concept and idea of a tertiary PPU Whether it be in the form of Ageia... or Ageia bought up by Nvidia Or ATI did you see that documentary? |

For the PPU though I'd prefer ATI or nVidia |

To be exact 1 hour 13 minutes
They wouldn't have the same know-how that Meqon/Ageia has though.. The problem is that the PPU requires cooling Both chips under one fan? I would hope one of them just bought Ageia and assimilated it into a GPU :p If they'd try it alone, without their experience, I know they'd just do it halfassed |

Or they could try to amass industrial experience from scratch (or do industrial espionage on ageia) |

Nothing beats Meqon
Those are just halfassed crossfire/sli solutions Am I right? Or is it a GPU doing both graphics and physics? Because I've read that is gonna be more possible with Dx10 |

I wouldn't call it half-assed yet |

Ati and nvidia will have the ability to run both physics and graphics on 1 gpu , or dedicate 1 gpu for physics specificly if in SLI |
