Whats the easiest way to bone a human?

I mean like, are there shortcuts to boning so you get the result you want?

If you prefer women, its from the front I would say it is best described without confusion
I'm not quite sure the whole rigging process
I'm not a very good rigger

Why the hell are they called bones anyhow... makes a mess when asking for help

AmberPrince, check the tuts for max
They are very very good
I rigged an old character in less than 1 hour I had him walking arround

Aswell as fundamental if you want to enjoy max

I have.. but the tut is a onelegged gobblin or whatnot...
And im trying to bone a human with 2 legs, 2 arms, 10 fingers ...

I did too
Mine worked just fine

I got the legs working
But doing the arms + fingers ...
That was too much

What version of max are you on?

Then it most definetely is in the max help
Maybe not the "tutorial" but the helpfile

Its a lot of work but there realy is little difference from that and a robotic arm just branch it here and there
Set some limits and stuff

I actually did get the arms to work aswell.. the most dificulty i'm having with the fingers
Well, since i want all fingers to be movable, i have boned the fingers
Then i connected the bones to the wrist...
But somehow the hand acts strange when i move it

Sounds like the limits are weird
But characters is not my best ability

Apparently
All this time ive been ripping my hair out by its roots
And all i needed to do was shut the damn app down and restart

AmberPrince.. trust your skills, not max
A reboot is always good when you suspect something is messing up
