Is it possible to align an object to a polygon in xsi?
If yes how?

I think you can do it with the ref mode
just select your object you want to align.
activate translate tool
Turn on the REF mode.
Right click the ref button and choose "Pick polygon reference"
and pick the polygon to which you want to align. Then just zero the rotation and translation.
It should move the object and align it to the polygon you used for reference.

To Attach an Image to your post write the message then press the Go Advanced button. In the bottom of the advanced reply screen you will see an option to upload an image from your computer.
