Job details: Senior 3D Environment Artist NCsoft Orange County is seeking an experienced Senior 3D Environment Artist to join its seasoned team of industry professionals led by key contributors of award winning massively multiplayer games. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly creative environment and contribute to the development of a new game from the ground up.
The Senior 3D Environment Artist is an exceptionally skilled modeler/texture artist with a passion for games who has the ability to work in a diverse visual range of styles. The artist will work with the art director, lead artist, and design team to provide models/textures/lighting for buildings, dungeons, props, and cities for interior and exterior environments.

Requirements:

Highly creative, passionate, driven artist
Photoshop/Painter and experience in at least one major 3D package (Maya, 3DS Max, Softimage).
Familiarity with shader based rendering including normal, specular and diffuse maps.
A strong understanding of form, shape, structure, and silhouette in regard to modeling.
Traditional illustration skills in multiple mediums, including a firm grasp of color theory.
Experience in a broad variety of styles and genres.
Minimum 3 years Game Industry experience required and/or minimum 2 shipped titles.
Ability to adhere to established creative direction.
Able to work full-time on location
