Lucasfilm Singapore is looking for Digital Layout Artist
Starting Date: ASAP
Job details: Job Purpose:The Digital Layout Artist works as a digital camera operator to create camera compositions and determine rough character timing to pre-visualize shots and provide a clear sense of action for the Animation, EFX and Lighting departments.

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating a 3D version of the story reel
Works under the guidance and direction of Animation Supervisor in Singapore
Working on shots in the assigned sequence to insure that the Animation Supervisors vision is realized
Responsible for creation of rough models and environments for pre-visualization
As instructed by the Animation Supervisor, executes the technical set up of assigned sequences, trouble shoot any problems on shots, and responsible for continuity and flow
May work as the team leader on technical aspects of Layout
Shot assembly and creation of final layout for animation production
Asset Management and file creation
Final Shot cleanup, effects as well as secondary animation
Effects animation (e.g. Lasers) and vehicle animation
Requirements: Diploma or degree in Film/Animation or 2+ years in a related field preferred
Must possess the ability to work independently
Full portfolio demonstrating high-level traditional art skills and breadth of subject matter. Knowledge of cinematic techniques, language and shot composition.
Ability to work under pressure in addition to implementing changes based on input from multiple sources
Experience in Film and or Animation production essential
Knowledge of Linux and Maya is a must
Knowledge of camera/layout
Excellent organizational and Asset Management skills.
