Job details: Senior Environmental Artist
As the Senior Environmental Artist you will be spearheading the creation process for new alien worlds in Stargate Worlds. Working with the Lead World Builder and the Art Director, you will set the initial tone and look for the various playfields in the game.

Major Responsibilities:

Contributes all elements related to the creation of unique game environments.
Texture aliens and creatures to match environment
Generate textures for skyboxes.
Integrates assets into the game
Participates in visual comparison and critiques
Consistently exercises sound judgment in all areas of performance.
Mentor and lead by example less experienced artists, providing them with support, guidance and instruction in areas that provide for their artistic and professional growth.


Qualifications:

Experience with Unreal Editor
Knowledge of Maya
Art related college degree. (4 year degree recommended)
Demonstrable experience designing, modeling, texturing, and lighting,
levels/environment using 3DStudio Max and/or Maya.
Traditional art skills with good sense of design and with an attention to detail; strong painting and texture skills are a must.
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Epics Unreal Engine, and normal map creation a bonus.
All candidates must deliver a full resume with art samples to be considered for this position. (Website and/or downloadable demo reel preferred.)
