Job details: Lead Content Designer RESPONSIBILITIES

Story Development
● Breaks mission stories
● Creates NPC characters
● Encourage input from team members, but make final decisions on story and mission design.
● Works closely with the tools programmer to create a world-class mission editing tool.
● Test, balance, and tune all aspects of the thousands of in-game missions.
● With the Creative Director, create and update the content of the games Concept Proposal and story treatment for the client.
● Help create scenarios, scripts, and character descriptions for the game.
● Design and write the live team story plan.

SKILLS

● Familiarity with traditional elements of dramatic structure as it applies to mission design.
● Facility with writing traditional scripts for TV.
● Ability to direct actors in VO sessions.
● Must write great dialogue and architect compelling MMO missions.
● Willing and able to work closely with Programmers and Artists.
● Communication and interpersonal interaction with varied audiences.
● Creativity and innovation.
● Problem solving.

REQUIREMENTS

● Minimum of 3 years of experience writing characters, stories and dialogue for gamesincluding the completion of 1+ full cycle of game production.
RELATIONSHIPS Reports to: Creative Director.
Supervises: all members of the Content Design Team
