Job details: Level Designer Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for designing and implementing levels for next-generation console games.

Specifically your field of work will focus on:

Work with lead designer on level design and game play ideas
Use proprietary level editor to implement designs, lay out levels, script events and manipulate AI behaviors
Assist in design documentation and in-game dialogue writing
Use Maya, Photoshop and proprietary tools to create basic level assets and get them into the game engine

Job Requirements:

Ability to learn new tools and workflows with minimal supervision
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Scripting or programming experience preferred
Level design on 1+ shipped title preferred; experience in console game development required
Work experience with at least one professional 3D modeling package such as Maya, 3dsmax, etc.
Experience with developing console or PC online multiplayer a plus

Portfolio Requirements:
A sample single-player and/or multi-player level/map using any off-the-shelf game editor (ie. UT2004, Halflife 2, etc.) demonstrating solid understanding of level design, event and/or ai scripting and game development process. This is mandatory regardless of experience. Portfolios without demo level will not be considered.
Any examples of work from past titles, shipped or otherwise. Pls list specific levels if from shipped title and a short description of what you worked on
