Kush Games -2K Sports is looking for Project Manager

Job details: Project Manager Kush Games is seeking a Project Manager to lead one of its high-profile sports titles. As Project Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of developing the game, and will directly manage the programmers, assistant project manager, and designer on your team. You will work with the publisher, internal design team, and development team to conceive and implement features. You will be responsible for multiple platforms including next-gen systems. Exceptional communication and management skills as well as a drive for high levels of quality are a must.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work with designers and team leads to create and manage design document and development schedule for year-long project with monthly milestones
Manage development, testing, and first party approval of title
Manage team of 1020 programmers and production staff
Act as primary liaison with publisher and other outside parties
Handle personnel issues in a timely fashion
Assist in recruiting when needed

Qualifications:

Strong project management, scheduling and multi-team coordination experience
Clear ability to work effectively as a team leader who can produce results
Strong time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, mitigate risks, problem solve, multitask and meet deadlines
Deep knowledge of games and game development
Good written and communication skills
Detail oriented
Must have shipped at least one AAA title in a producer/project management role
Minimum of 3 years experience in a videogame production role
Working knowledge of how programming, art, and audio contribute to the development process
4 Year College Degree
