Job details: Game Designer Responsibilities:

Build flow of gameplay using mechanics to create end-to-end experience. Paces game play experience and engenders mood. Works collaboratively with the audio department. Works well with deliberate direction while also having ability to voice own ideas about game play. Works with programmers to handle technical challenges. Debuggs. Provides solid analysis of the game.

Requirements

Technical Skills:
3D Design tools such as 3D Studio Max; Unreal or equivalent.
Ability to script languages.

Other Required Skills Include:
Ability to work with mixed teams. Exhibits tremendous amount of flexibility.
Pragmatic.
Comfortable in a changing environment.
Intensely collaborative.
Ability to succeed in multiple game design disciplines and live outside of comfort zone.
Self-directing; exhibits independence.
Able to juggle multiple tasks.
Passion for making games.
Aggressive with tasks.
Result-driven.
Sense of artistic expression.
Technically minded and comfortable learning new software.
Ability to communicate extremely clearly both verbally and in written form.
Ear for dialogue.
