Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This individual will report to the Director of Human Resources, and will be responsible for assisting in all functional areas of Human Resources.

Best known for blockbuster hits including World of Warcraft, the Warcraft series, StarCraft, and the Diablo series, Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. (www.blizzard.com),is a premier developer and publisher of entertainment software renowned for creating many of the industrys most critically acclaimed games. Blizzards track record includes nine #1-selling games and multiple Game of the Year awards. The companys free Internet gaming service, Battle.net, reigns as the largest in the world, with millions of active users.

Responsibilities:
Assist, support and facilitate the delivery of services in the function areas of HR, including staffing, orientation, employee communications, training, performance management, employee relations, benefits, compensation and compliance.
Manage and maintain employee immigration cases.
Partner with employees and management to interpret and administer various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
Coordinate the performance management process, including performance reviews and merit increases.
Counsel employees and management on HR related issues.
Coordinate employee events.
Provide administrative duties for all HR related tasks.
Participate in strategy sessions with the HR team on policy and HR practices.

Qualifications:
3+ years experience in a Generalist role.
Bachelors degree in a related field.
Skilled with processes relating to the development of human resources is essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills is a must.
Ability to work well in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
Excellent written skills.
Plusses:
Prior immigration knowledge is beneficial.
Experience in administering HR services to a workforce involved in leading edge technology or computer graphics.
Experience working in an HR department for an entertainment, publishing or interactive company.
Experience using Oracle.
