I'm pretty sure it's a combo of Maya and rendering engine. I'm almost certain it's NOT 3DMax.
I looked at their site and am also impressed. Especially with their 3-stone rings.

I also use HDI 3D Scanner .
Never heard of the one you mentioned, "vi3dim."
