maya: removing groupings?

How do I remove groupings?

did you try shift-g ?
But i might have set that hotkey myself
I dont remember
Else edit>ungroup
If i am right i don't have maya open
Somewhere at the bottom of the rollout
But a simple shift-p (unparent) would make it parent to world, too
