If you are interesting in 3D Animation, Realluison provides easier 3D software called iClone5 that is easy to use and easy affordable costs ( around $150 exactly price not sure ). The iClone5 can work with MS Kinect to create animation without fram by frame. You can use your Autodesk software to create project and import to iclone5 to create animation.

They are also Microsoft official Kinect for Windows of partners and recommended custom solution providers.

hi,

is there any animation software that could render animations not frame by frame? (what i would like to do is just click a button then automatically create a rendered animation.) cause what im doing is create my animation in 3dmaxs then render my animation frame by frame then combined those frames on adobe after effects.

THANKS Smile

Autodesk is the best, but to expensive!
I make my movies with Carrara8 Pro.
It cost with all Plugins ca.1000 Dollar.
The Quality is very good.
I love Carrara8 pro.
Have fun

Which are the best 3d animation programs?
I need to find 5 industry standard 3D animation software for an assessment at college and I am having a bit of trouble finding them.

If anyone knows which are these computer animation programs it would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

I don't know too much about 3D animation but I use anim8or and it is great for a free program. I am amazed with what I can do with my limited knowledge. If your more experienced that I am, I think that you should check this out.

Do you have some idea for that, from what programs i will be needed to make animation like Kung Fu Panda and like Ice Age?
Giliam86 Posted: June 21, 2011
I was amazed by the features of the 3D animation software though I was just wondering to make a career in 3D animation so I think MAYA is the best 3D animation software ever I used.

UVIAs --> Of course there is no sense in payng for something you can get free. That's why it's good that there is powerful free soft like Blender. Blender existence makes that other developers cannot be lazy and take money for no or little innovation. It force them to create something worth paying and introduce improvements that were planned for later or they'll loose clients. Free and powerful soft is a strong competitor and that's the beauty of this I think Smile

Anim8or is free 3d animation software that includes modeling, character design, and animation. It reads and writes 3ds (3d Studio) and Lightwave files and creates .avi output. Check it out!

Is iKITMovie an Animation Industry Standard in 3d Animation? Can it be used in the production of animated movies like Shrek and Ice Age? Or may be it can be used in The creation of animated special effects for movies like the Lord of The Rings, Avatar and Transformers? I don't think so. So if you have nothing to say about Industry Standard 3d Animation Software - don't.

You are correct iKITMovie is not even a 3d animation software it uses camera to record the stop motion animation. Smile

UVlas, there will always be something new to develop.
In the far future there will be programs that will read your mind with a special device and you will be able to create with your imagination alone. Smile
But until then there will always be some new animation tools to invent and develop. Smile
