3D Animation: Flash or ...?

We are developing a sophisticated website, based on Wordpress, PhP and MySql. Additional, we like to add virtual 3D animations. These animations should be able to interact with our MySql database.

For example a 3D animatied house. The visitor should be able to virtually walk around in this house and have a look virtually on everything. He also should be able to buy small gimmicks (like a candle or flowers). These gimmicks are 3D animated as well. And they change over time (flowers are fading, the candle is burning and getting smaller)

As per now, we would like to make everything in Flash. But Flash is not running on tablets. What kind of software do you recommend (Maya, Unity, Html5 etc)? Please fell free to share. Thanks

By the way. It should be a well known software, as we intending to hire a freelancer for developing. Additional, the software should be able to interact with the database MySql

If you are talking about a website then HTML5 is the way to go.
Maya does not work on tablets too Smile
