Hello,
I'm trying to create a 3d model of a submarine design I'm working on and have no art experience. I'm looking for a free and easy to use software that will allow me to create or edit 3d objects by just entering the dimensions without having to do any drawing with the mouse. It would also be great if, after the object has been created, I can drag it and attach it to other objects. The software should be able to work in standard units of measurement (meters and feet).
I've tried Google Sketch-up, which has the normal measurements I'm looking for, but doesn't allow me to adjust objects to specific measurements without dragging with the mouse, which makes precision very hard. For example, I'd like to be able to create a cylinder by simply entering a radius and length measurement and have it pop up and be moveable.
Does anyone know of a software for this?
