Gallus Entertainment is looking for Senior IT Position

Starting Date: soon, duration - Year and 1/2

Job details: A Boutique animation studio in downtown Toronto is seeking a Senior IT/Systems Administrator person for our IT department. Must have at least 5 years experience with either Feature or TV Series/Commercial CG production.

Ideally we are looking for a Linux person who is capable of simple Windows desktop administration and simple Max OSX network administration. We currently run Mac OSX servers with Windows XP64 network and plan to phase into Linux as both a server and desktop platform.


Requirements: Current responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Maintaining network functionality
- Desktop maintenance
- Storage maintenance
- Data Back-up
- Forecasting (and resolving) potential problems
- Setting up new systems/domains for future projects (additional assistance to be brought in for large projects)
- Maintaining Mail Servers/Internet
- Software Licensing Management
