Nerd Corps Entertainment is looking for Technical Director

Nerd Corps Entertainment is seeking a skilled Technical Director to maintain and upgrade our existing television production pipeline. The applicant will be responsible for working with the creative personnel in the studio in order to create scripts and processes to relieve the artists of their mundane tasks and allow them to spend more time creating the innovative and exciting animation for which Nerd Corps is known. The applicant will also propose and implement creative new ways of streamlining tasks for the production crew.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Skilled programmer with experience in JavaScript, VBScript, PHP, and C++
• Experience with animation packages, preferably Autodesk Softimage (XSI) or Maya
• Solid base programming skills with the ability to research and learn new methodologies quickly when needed
• Good level understanding of Web Standards (XHTML/CSS/DOM)
• Experience in design and implementation of user interfaces for multimedia applications
• Interest in graphics programming a plus
• Must be responsible and accountable; enjoys managing a complex project with multiple parts
• Good communicator who possesses strong written and oral communication skills
• Supportive, not just within the division but also cross-functionally supportive
• Able to listen to and implement constructive criticism
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Demonstrates excellent analytical skills
• Strong team player
