AAI Services is looking for 3D Graphics Summer Internship

Starting Date: Summer 2010, duration - Summer

Job details: A federal research center is accepting applications for student interns to help with creating the next generation of 3D graphics capability for use in research driving simulation. The position will involve creating advanced shader effects and capabilities or by extending the current library of vehicle models and / or character models used in driving research scenarios.


Requirements: The following is required Computer Programming (C++) with OpenGL or DirectX and shader programming using Cg or GLSL or HLSL.

3D Modeling using tools such as Maya, 3DS Max, Presagis Creator, MudBox, MotionBuilder or similar tool, while integrating current real time rendering effects.

Is highly desirable to have candidates which have knowledge of generating real time models and effects using most of the tools listed above that also have skills in 3D real time game technology or simulation.

Majors:
A minimum of 1 year of college toward a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer technology relating to 3D Visualization and Modeling degrees, any major in 3D Graphics, Computer Animation, Computer Visualization or Computer Simulation
