SUPERB OPPORTUNITY for an artistic computer graphics/digital animation specialist to gain national exposure on a groundbreaking new network television series – one that uses computer 3D Rendering in a commercially potent way. The series is part of a full platform of entertainment product slated for release in 2010 by a new studio formed by A-List film, television, publishing, music, and marketing talent. One of the core values the Company is founded on is in sourcing, enabling, and empowering fresh emerging talent in all creative areas of our entertainment business – including digital film/television creative technology. The skills needed in the television series require an accomplished ability to work with 3D rendering software such as ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS or MAC FINAL CUT or anything similar. Along with the technical proficiency, we are looking for someone who works with visual vibrancy, using the technology as a tool to effect a final product that is actively energetically engaging. We do not want the technology to ‘get in the way’ of the creative visual expression. We are taking static images and animating them in a unique manner in the context of the show. In this posting, we are asking for a 2 ˝ minute ‘animation’ clip to be produced under our creative direction as an ‘audition’ for work on the series. The series work does not require relocation – nor would it limit a student’s ability to carry on with university responsibilities – or an employees work commitment to another company. We will provide sample pieces along with very specific direction to applicants for use in producing the 2 ˝ minute spec submission.
