Totally Digital UK is looking for Assembler Programmer



Job details: My client, a publisher of the massively multiplayer online adventure game, have asked for our assistance in finding experienced assembler programmers, who want to work with cutting-edge technology, to join their Core Technologies department. The assembler programmers would be working with their code libraries, game engine and bespoke tool chain. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join a fast-paced, rapidly expanding games company.
Key duties Include:

• Working on core technology libraries, including our 3D engine, using a mixture of higly optimized C and Assembler for cutting edge performance;
• Researching new technology, platforms and ideas
• Developing our bespoke tools in parallel to the 3D engine, so they complement each other for the best result promoting and maintaining
• Producing and maintaining our tools and looking after the documentation of code.

Salaries

Requirements:
• Good knowledge of C++ or java;
• Strong assembler programming experience
• Strong understanding of 3D graphics techniques
• A passion for programming
• High technical competence and extensive programming experience;
• The ability to think creatively to solve coding problems
• As portfolio that demonstrates your strong programming skills

Also useful

• Experience working with x86 architecture;
• Previous experience of working in the game industries would be a big plus
