SM Productions is looking for 3D Animation Directors and Character Animators



Job details: New animation company focusing on character animation is looking for 3D animation directors, animators who are able to pitch storyboards and testers to potential clients for commercials and other animation work.

We currently require a director for a pitch for a 1 to 2 min CGI infomercial to pitch in the next few weeks which requires a bold, colourful cartoon look.

Producer is young from a corporate background and has been in the creative sector for 2 year and has won various awards in both live action and animation, including a student oscar nomination and now looking to build a strong driven team of directors and creative staff.

If you are not based in the UK, but have a small creative studio and need to be represented, this is also something we are keen to establish.

Requirements: In depth knowledge of various packages required such as Maya, 3DMAX, Flash, After Effects, Motion Graphics

Needs to be able to setup the project, manage the tech requirements if required and knowledge of all the aspects such as lighting, texturing and direct animators in each of these area.

Strong visual and storytelling style is a must and must have demonstrated this through existing work, either as an existing graduate or just fighting for projects in the real world.

Young, driven and unsigned talent, with a goal to direct universal commercials for large clients.
