A class project for making an organic form. This is one of the monsters from Sendak's book "Where the Wild Things Are". Please any feedback. I am a student with less than a year experience in 3D.

Why the image is so small I can barely see the character.
The only thing I can say right now is that the object blends too much with the background, which is not good in the way that I can't see the form his black parts..

Staging: Everything seems to be all meshed together. It's hard to tell what is going on really and that is a big thing when looking at any artwork. The viewer must know what they are looking at or have some idea.

Lighting: The light is a little hard, soften it up.

Character: When placing your character into a pose think silhouette. Make them pose into something interesting. Thumbnails help me out best here.

The Image blends in the background and the character seems small.
