Emagination Game Design is looking for Lead Designer

Job details: Do you love creating video games? Want a chance to network with others in the industry? Looking for an entry level position that will lead to new opportunities? Emagination Game Design is currently recruiting Lead Designers to deliver our program to teens ages 16-18. Lead Designers share their knowledge and creativity and provide guidance and team work strategies through classroom instruction and project management. Participants in this pre-college program are introduced to all aspects of the industry, tour a game development company and work on a team to build a playable video game with original scripting, levels, art work, music and sounds. Qualified applicants are expected to have a college degree in game design and development or a related field, prior involvement in a game design/development project and/or experience working with children/teens. Candidates are expected to develop proficiency in software used in program as needed for scope of position. Lead Designer positions are full-time, seasonal (June-July) with a competitive salary and include room and board. Current openings at our Bentley College (Waltham, MA), UCLA (Los Angeles, CA) and Mercer University (Atlanta, GA) locations.
