Unfortunately this website doesn't seem very active, but i shall post all the same.
I work on 3d models as a hobby, i find it incredibly fun to do and would love a job in the industry. I have quite low confidnce and few final products what with all my university course work. I would like to ask everybody here who works in the industry or hopes to do so if they think my work is any good or if i should get a new dream job now. Please have a look at thise pictures, and by the way my texturing ability is quite poor. Here is a selection of my ancient low poly warriors (for rome total war mods). Samurai
Chinese Warrior (3 Kingdoms)
Achillies (based off brad pitt from the movie for the mod TroyTW)
Templar Knight
Saxon Huscarl
Saxon Huscarl rear view
Menelaos (TroyTW)
Irish Audheran-Laecha (Arthurian Total War)
Irish Arras (Arthurian Total War)
King Arthur (Arthurian Total War)
Classic Greek Hoplite (custom)
Troy Total War Units
Lydia
Gwalchmai Gwalltafwyn(ATW)
Here are some other quite low poly models which i never was able to finish and have considerably more polys than the above units.
Finally a few high poly models which i made based off star wars ships. (only the x-wing has an applied texture - but that is very basic) x-wing
tie interceptor
tie fighter
star destroyer

Wow this is a bit of an overloaded message!
This forum is not active but that's only because it's new. If you could post each of your work in a separate message you would get some precious feedback in the future... Cheers! _________________ Andyba, 3d artist skills: 3d modeling, texturing, rendering, 3d character animation, compositing 3d software experience: 3ds max, Maya, Softimage XSI, Deep Paint 3d, Body Paint 3D, Wings 3D, Z Brush 2d software experience: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After effects, Macromedia Flash, Freehand |

You want me to make a new topic for each picture? People could quote the parts of my message they want. |

Your models are a bit low poly, but I guess you intended them to be. I love the way you've textured them, you know you should sell these for some company making some games like Age of Empires or some other strategy game. They'd be perfect for that! Very nicely done! Keep up the good work! _________________ John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. http://www.the3dstudio.com/default.aspx?id_affiliate=278439 ![]() |
