Job details: Character Set-Up Artist Character Setup Technical Director/Artist

Responsibilities:

-Effective communication skills.
-An explorer mindset that is not afraid to sail uncharted waters or discover new things.
-Commitment to help building a new team from the ground up.
-Build skeletons to precise specification
-Create high-quality smooth skin deformations
-Model high-resolution morph targets for facial animation
-Design intuitive rigging solutions for hand-keyed and motion-captured animation


Requirements:

-3-5 years of comprehensive experience as a Character Setup Artist or Character T.D.
-Ability to work effectively within limitations to achieve the best possible results
-Intuitive understanding of human anatomy, skeletal structure, and facial musculature
-Ability to model morph targets for both realistic and stylized performances
-Meticulous by nature with an aptitude for visual problem solving
-Experience with Maya, 3D Studio Max, Softimage, Motion Builder
