MR is giving me weird blurry blotches on the baked maps./.. but only on displaced maps
And including the AO in the shader makes the rendertime take longer than separate AO and render combined
Like LOTS longer
Although the occlusion baking is separate

Have you tried it with finalgather ?
Have you increased the quality for final gathering?

Yes i did. MR has lots of dodgy stuff
My MR never reloads textures
I have to relead maya and the scene

I had the same problem
Do you might use prefilter ?
I think i am not very sure about that
But i think that was the problem
Because i didn't knew it before

I was thinking - maybe ther is some sort of MR cache file
Because I can't imagine it keeps 300+ mb of textures in ram all time

If you use that prefilter thing, i think it uses it indeed it caches the prefiltered image
