Whenever I use meshsmooth it deforms my object really badly.
Even on the lowest settings. What am I doing wrong?

if you are using mesh smooth you have to design the model knowing you are using mesh smooth
im not sure if that was a clear statement

kinoman,
You have to learn 'subpatch modeling'

It's low-poly modeling with the intent to subpatch (meshsmooth is a subpatcher, and not really a great one)

yes, i also had issues with meshsmooth, rounds up eaven what needs to stay "blocky"... But i dont know is there an option to only apply meshsmooth only on certain faces, areas of the model without detaching stuff to be another object? That would save my 75% low-poly model!
